Rust colour finishes contain rust and have the potential to leach rust onto surfaces. We recommend sealing all rust finished products with Porters Rust Seal (Available at Dulux paint Stock lists).

Factory Direct Pots Metal Effect Finish collection is a premium grade pure fibreglass product. This range of pots is extremely lightweight. It is strong and durable which makes it suitable for both residential and commercial projects. Popular because they are lightweight, but it is also because of their superior quality and design. There are a variety of size and designs available.

Factory Direct Pots specialise in large pots, and when you combine that with the lightweight materials used, it makes the pots perfect for those projects requiring large pots. Putting a large pot in place that is not lightweight can be quite a challenge. These pots can be moved by children. They can also handle the wear and tear due to superior quality.

Factory Direct Pots Lightweight Metal Effect is part of our Custom Design Pots service; however, all metal effect finishes are completed at our premises in Dural. We manufacture to your specifications, but custom container volume shipments cannot go direct to commercial sites from our overseas factory, since metal effect finish can only be applied by our team in Sydney (please discuss with our team on options). Potsonline has partnered with developers, architects, builders, cafes, restaurants, hotels, and landscapers on a vast number of commercial projects. All fibreglass planters can be prone to surface hairline cracking due to shrinkage and expansion in weather. (Note: this is not structural damage and will not put the structural quality of the the pot at at risk). For aesthetic
purposes, fillers can be used in any cracks, sanded, and then painted to match original colour finishes. All cube and rectangular planters will not
have a perfect straight edge due to the handmade manufacturing process, and there will be tolerances when butting up against walls or other planters.
Appearance of warping and bowing can be hidden with ground covering plants when cube planters and rectangular planters are aligned against a wall or another planter. Perfect straight edges can only be achieved with the highly costly use of steel or rotary moulded plastic, so fibreglass provides up much more
economical alternative.

Factory Direct Pots uses quality primer and Porter’s metal effect paint. All pots in this range are also sealed internally with bitumen waterproofing seal. As Metal Effect finishes have the potential to leach onto surfaces, customers can apply Porter Rust Sealer by simply brushing on. This is a clear water-based sealers and available in 1 litre and 4 lite cans, Customers can purchase this at any Dulux Paint Stockist.

 Note: Plastic shrink wrap should be removed from pots, on arrival to your location. If pots are not unwrapped heat and moisture will cause the plastic wrap to adhere to the pot.
